So you might ask yourself what this means for me? To me it is an opportunity to stock up on diapers if you use disposibles since they are on sale for $10.99 starting Sunday. Kmart is doubling coupons up to $2, but no internet coupons (sorry!).

It's also a good time to buy Baby Food, soaps, dog treats and many more items.

Great Deal on Cloth Diapers...

So... after all the diaper price increases and diaper count decreases I finally decided to make my move to cloth diapers. I'm only doing it with my 8 1/2 month old for now because I need to use up the rest of my stash of disposibles and I am afraid of how my 2 1/2 year old would react to the change. Plus I think he is almost ready to start potty training.

Last week I started using my cloth diapers. I bought 8 Bum Genius ones. Six from diapers.com and two from Target.com so I could use my $25 giftcard from the Target Marathon pricing error.

Babies R Us Pampers wipes deal

Through March 4, 2009 when you buy 3 P&G items, includes Pampers boxes diapers and Pampers Value boxes of wipes and Dreft, you get a free $15.00 giftcard. See babiesrus.com for details.
Plus right now Babies R Us just mailed out a coupon booklet which started January 30th and goes through February 21st which includes some really good coupons.

$5 off on any 40 load or larger Dreft or Tide
$2 off on Every Value Box of wipes (Pampers, Huggies, and Especially for baby)

So here's the really good deal on wipes.

Buy 3 Pampers Boxes of diapers at $11.49 each = $34.47
Use the $2 off on each box of wipes coupon= -$6
Use three $0.50 wipes coupons (I have a bunch from buying Pampers jumbo packs of diapers)= -$1.50
So you'll spend $26.97 before taxes on wipes and get a $15 giftcard back

Assuming you buy the Pamper Natural Aloe Unscented or the Baby Fresh scent you'll get 462 wipes per box, so 3*462=1448. Including the giftcard you'll be at $11.97 for these 1448 wipes, which means they cost you $0.008 cents per wipe.

This is a stock up deal. I would even consider spending a dollar on ebay to get the coupon booklet so you can save the $6, which turns out to only be $5 if you spend $1 on the coupon. But it's worth it still.

Now onto the diaper deal. This would be a good time to try to get the Rewards deal where you buy 9 boxes of Pampers diapers get the 10th for free.

$40.69 for a box or diapers- $5 (Babies R Us coupon)- $1 manufacturers coupon= $34.69*3 boxes= $104.07 is the amount you will spend, but you'll be getting back a $15 giftcard for your purchase. Taking the giftcard into account and buying size 3 Cruisers, you'll end up paying $0.1856 cents per diaper. This is a stock-up price for Pampers Cruisers.

Tide is also a decent price since there is a $5 Babies R Us coupon in the booklet. Just remember that you can buy any combination, so say you need diapers, wipes, and laundry detergent you can do that as well instead of stocking up on just 1 item.

Spend $20 on P&G products and get a $10 gift check by mail. All you have to go is mail in the refund form and your receipt. This makes for a great deal on Luvs diapers. Buy 3 packs get them for basically half price.

So I was searching online on Babiesrus.com at their clearance baby gear since I saw the advertisement that if you spent $100 on clearance items online you would get 10% off. So here's the deal I found.

The Quinny Zapp Stroller in Black, which is normally $239.99 is on clearance for $199.99. So that's a good price and then get 10% more off and you're down to $179.99 for a great stroller. Plus its eligible for a free stroller with purchase. I think its the umbrella kind.

I'm thinking about trying out gDiapers...

I've been fascinated with them for a while, but the price is definately detering me. I even went as far as to call dGiapers and ask them if they have any coupons, but I got the good old song and dance that they are a small company of 15 employees and they can't afford to give out coupons. But there are so good deals on diapers.com sometimes.

So last week when I was at Babies R Us I looked at the gDiapers and they looked so neat to me. I really wanted to buy them, but I have always used disposibles and my hubby might not understand, plus I feel like it defeats my objective of saving money on diapers. The refills are 32 cents a piece the best way I can figure out to do it. That's like twice the price I pay for diapers at a minimum. Maybe someone can help me figure out a way to do it.

I even looked on ebay at buying the diaper part used, but they seemed like they were selling for almost the retail price. Which is bad for me, but might be good if I tried them and then didn't like them because then I could resell mine and get back most of my money.

Maybe someone else has an idea on these.
